Mar E Sol Ponta Do Ouro House #07. It truly is a spectacular view! We hope that you will have as much fun and good times as we do in this magical place, capturing both beauty and simplicity. Once you have bathed in the warm waters of Ponta Do Ouro you will always return! Remember Mozambique is a third world country, so please adjust your expectations accordingly.
The house is situated at the top of Dune and parking for the house is at the top. There’s also stairs to access the unit.
There is a main walkway that leads down to the Beach gate.
Kitchen nook to prepare or eat Breakfast at with seating for 6 people, Stove and Oven, Double door fridge, Kettle Toaster and all general Cutlery and Crockery for 8 people.
An awesome partially overlooking Ponta do Ouro Bay. Also a monstrous gas braai. Gas refills are available at reception. Table and chairs on the deck for 8 people. There is also a little deck by the front door with a table and chairs suitable for 6 people. As well as a deck by the front door also with a table and chairs
Lounge has a TV with a DVD player. NO DSTV. Seating for 8 people.
Four air-conditioned bedrooms can sleep 8 people.
Room 1: Double Bed.
Room 2: Double bed.
Room 3: Two single beds.
Room 4: Two single beds
Three bathrooms of which one is ensuite with each a Shower, Toilet and Basin. The house makes use of a septic tank system. Do not flush foreign objects. Do not use ammonia containing detergents (e.g. Handy Andy).“Pro Bac” cleaning chemicals are septic tank friendly and will be supplied.
From the Kosi-Bay border post, take any of the dirt roads to Ponta. Rule of thumb is to keep right. The easiest route however is to drive north until you get to the airfield and then turn right to Ponta.
In town drive straight past the market until you reach the campsite, and pass it on your left. Mar-e-Sol is 500m down the road.
